Welcome to my couponing blog! I'm a busy wife and mom to three (3yr old son and twin girls that are 18months!). I am always on the lookout for ways to save money. We live in Minnesota in the Twin Cities area. I am fortunate enough to be able to stay home with my kids, and finding ways to 'pinch my pennies' will hopefully allow me the ability to continue to be a stay-at-home mom.

I love the thrill of a deal and learning how to become a savvy shopper. Using coupons and shopping wisely takes some practice, patience and a little work, but it is worth the return.

I hope this blog will help me keep on in my endeavor to cut my family's spending and maybe help someone else to do the same.

The current format for this blog is as follows:

Detailed weekly coverage of Rainbow Foods and CVS/pharmacy

Highlights on a weekly or semi-weekly of Walgreens, Cub Foods, Target and/or Aldi's

Online Coupons, Deals, Rebates and other Promotions

Occasional tips on frugal living and cooking

Because of my busy schedule, this is the format that best suits me at this time. I feel I'm most experienced at shopping Rainbow and CVS; I am most familiar with their policies, how their promotions work and can offer the most incite on these two stores.

While I know you can get fabulous deals at Walgreen's, Target and at times Cub Foods and Aldi's, I have not tackled all of the nitty-gritty of these stores enough to put together full, in-depth post each and every week.

It's nice to see how all of these money saving techniques can be practically applied, so from time to time I'll post about ways, not related to shopping, that we are saving money.

My hope is that the quality of my posts will be reflected in this approach.
